Hey, I'm Stephanie
Founder, registered dietitian, yogi, outdoor enthusiast, dog lover . . . and the list goes on!
I've spent nearly two decades in the wellness industry - as a personal trainer, yoga instructor, and dietitian - and I've seen how shame, punishment, and restriction backfire time and time again.
I opened Food Wonderful in 2017 to offer something different. Meaningful nutrition counseling accessible to everyone. That means building a nutrition plan that works for you - one that's sustainable and includes foods you enjoy. It means engaging in physical activity that's fun and feels good. And it means promoting health behaviors for all bodies regardless of size, shape, or ability.

My approach to nutrition counseling is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I’m interested not only in what you eat, but in understanding the experiences, beliefs, and circumstances that have shaped your relationship with food and your body. Together, we can make sense of your experiences around food and find ways forward that support both your physical health and your life outside of nutrition.
As the founder of Food Wonderful, my work extends beyond client sessions. I oversee the clinical and administrative direction of the practice, support our team of dietitians, and spend a lot of time thinking about how we can provide thoughtful, accessible, evidence-based eating disorder care. I genuinely enjoy the problem-solving that comes with building a practice and creating systems that help both our clients and clinicians feel supported.
Movement is another important part of who I am. I’m a registered yoga teacher, and I love movement that is challenging, playful, grounding, or simply fun. That relationship with movement informs my work as a dietitian, too. I believe food and movement can be ways of caring for and connecting with our bodies—not tools for controlling, punishing, or shrinking them.
Ultimately, I want our work together to help you develop more trust in yourself. My job isn’t to hand you a set of rules to follow - ugh, no thank you! It’s to bring my clinical expertise to the table, listen carefully to yours, and help you build a way of nourishing and caring for yourself that actually belongs to you.
With Compassion,
Stephanie
